Driving from Dublin, Dublin Ferry Port or Dublin Airport.
From Dublin, follow the N1 which becomes the M1 motorway. From Dublin Port take the Port Tunnel (toll) signposted M1. From the Airport follow signs for M1 North (Belfast direction). Stay on the M1 for about 32 Km across the Toll bridge. After about a further 30 Km leave the motorway at Junction 17 signposted Castleblayney and take the first exit at the roundabout along the N53 (again signposted Castleblayney).

Please note that the N53 has a winding section requiring care around Culloville where it passes briefly through Northern Ireland. Continue on the N53 road passing Shoe City on your left and Concra Wood Golf Course on your right. Our entrance is approximately 1km on the right after the 80kph speed limit signs just before a long fence on the right and 50 metres before the 50kph speed limit signs.

Driving from Belfast and Newry.
Take the A1 towards Dublin this becomes the N1 and then the M1 motorway. Leave at Junction 17 (signposted Castleblayney) turning right at the exit roundabout and then straight on at the next small roundabout to follow the N53 towards Castleblayney (see above).

Driving from Ardee and Carrickmacross.
Take the N2 towards Monaghan and Londonderry. Approximately 16 Km North of Carrickmacross (which you will bypass) there is a roundabout. Take the 2nd exit (to the right) towards Castleblayney. After 1 Km take the right turn signposted N53 Dundalk – the actual turn is easy to miss as the N53 sign is on a fence at eye-level. The entrance to the avenue is located on the left approximately 50 metres after the 60kph speed limit sign at the end of a long fence.

NB This is part of an alternative route from Dublin. After the toll bridge leave the M1 at Junction 14 and follow the N33 to Ardee then follow the above directions.

Driving from Monaghan Direction.
Follow the N2 towards Dublin. To avoid the centre of Castleblayney do not turn off until you reach a roundabout about 24 Km from Monaghan. Take the first exit signposted N53 Dundalk. After 1 Km take the right turn signposted N53 Dundalk – the actual turn is easy to miss as the N53 sign is on a fence at eye-level. The entrance to the avenue is located on the left approximately 50 metres after the 60kph speed limit sign at the end of a long fence.
